Case Study: From Position 52 to Position 4 in Two Weeks with SerpClix
How a local business used real human clicks to go from invisible to page one.
A private investigation company in Florida went from page 6 to the top 4 in Google in two weeks using SerpClix. Here’s how the campaign worked.
Our last two case studies looked at SEO firms testing SerpClix. This one is different — it's a local business trying to get found by customers in their city.
A private investigation company in Florida was struggling with visibility. For their primary keyword — "[city] private investigator" — they were averaging position 52 in Google. Page 6. Invisible.
They partnered with Loon Cyber Consulting to see if SerpClix could change that.
The pivot that made it work.
The initial plan was to target organic search results. But after launching the campaign, they discovered that only about 24% of clickers could even find the site in the top 100 results. It was ranking too low for most clickers to reach.
So they pivoted. Instead of targeting organic listings alone, they shifted focus to Google Maps results — which made sense, since "[city] private investigator" has strong local intent. People searching that phrase want someone nearby.
The timeline.
The results came fast.
By day 5, the site jumped from position 52 to position 11 in organic search. It also started appearing consistently in the top Google Maps results.
By day 8, it reached position 8 in organic and climbed to 4th in the local Maps pack.
By day 14, it had solidified at position 4 in organic search and was fluctuating between positions 2 and 3 in Maps.
From page 6 to the top 4 in two weeks.
Why local SEO is a strong use case for SerpClix.
This case highlights something we see often: SerpClix is particularly effective for local search. Google weighs local user behavior heavily when ranking Maps and local pack results. Real humans in the right geographic area searching for a local keyword and clicking on a listing — that's exactly the kind of signal local rankings respond to.
It's also a keyword difficulty that matters. This term scored 17 out of 100 — moderate difficulty. Competitive enough for a small business, but not so entrenched that clicks alone couldn't move it. That's a realistic scenario for a lot of local businesses.
What the client expected.
They anticipated a minimum 10% increase in overall website traffic, with potential for 20–30% growth as the rankings stabilized past the holiday season when the test was run.
For a local service business, the difference between page 6 and the top 4 isn't incremental. It's the difference between getting calls and not getting calls.
SerpClix uses an army of over 400,000 real human clickers to boost your organic CTR. Get started with a free trial or log in to your dashboard to set up your next click order.

Please note: there are no guarantees in search engine optimization, ever. There are innumerable factors that can affect search engine rankings. And, realistically, most sites should focus their efforts on traditional SEO before even thinking about using non-traditional techniques like SerpClix. All SEO efforts can involve an element of risk. Some techniques are certainly more risky than others. SerpClix employs real human clickers, so we think our service is far less risky than trying to use automated or robotic click methods. But, like all SEO strategies, there is an element of risk because Google’s algorithm is unknown and subject to change at any time. For more information please see our Buyer FAQs.
