How the Second URL Option Works in SerpClix Orders

Add a secondary page visit to make your click orders look more natural.

How the Second URL Option Works in SerpClix Orders

Each SerpClix click order has one primary URL — the page you want a clicker to find and click in the search results. But the order form also includes an optional second URL field.

Here’s the key distinction: the second URL is not an alternative to the primary URL. It’s a page the clicker visits after they’ve already clicked on your primary URL in the search results.

How it works.

When a clicker picks up your order, they:

• Search Google for your keyword
• Find and click your primary URL in the search results
• Spend time on that page
• If you’ve entered a second URL, navigate to that page as well

The second URL creates a multi-page session. The clicker doesn’t just visit one page and leave — they browse to a second page on your site, which is what real users do naturally.

What a single order includes.

Here’s what you can configure in one click order:

1 primary URL (required) — the page you want clicked in search results
1 optional second URL — a page the clicker visits after the primary
Up to 100 keywords — the search terms clickers will use

If you need clicks to different primary URLs, create separate orders. Your account can have as many active orders as you want, each targeting a different URL and keyword set.

When to use the second URL.

You want clicks that look more natural. A searcher who clicks a result, then browses to another page on the same site, sends a stronger engagement signal than someone who bounces after viewing one page. The second URL adds that depth.

You want to drive engagement on a specific internal page. Maybe your blog post ranks well and gets the click, but you also want traffic flowing to your pricing page or a related article. The second URL lets you direct that flow.

You’re running a reputation management campaign. When managing brand search results, you might want clickers to visit a primary result and then navigate to another positive page on your site, reinforcing engagement signals across both pages.

When to skip it.

If your goal is straightforward — boost the CTR for one specific URL — you don’t need a second URL. A single-page visit is perfectly fine for most click orders.

The second URL is there for situations where a multi-page session adds value. If you don’t have a clear reason to use it, keep things simple and leave it blank.

Orders vs. accounts.

One point worth clarifying: the limits above apply per order. Your SerpClix account can have as many active orders as you want, each with its own primary URL, optional second URL, and keyword set.

So if you want clicks to 20 different URLs, you don’t need to cram them into one order — you create 20 separate orders. The second URL feature is specifically for adding a secondary page visit within a single click session.
